Description

ABOUT US:

Founded in 2018, Skyports is at the forefront of the Advanced Air Mobility revolution, developing and operating cutting-edge infrastructure for electric air taxis and using drone technology to transform business operations across industries.
Our business is split into two key areas:
Skyports Drone Services uses drones to streamline logistics, capture data, and enhance operational efficiency, with a focus on rural deliveries, surveying, surveillance, and maritime services.
Skyports Infrastructure plays a vital role in the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem, designing, building, owning, and operating vertiports that enable eVTOL operators to take off and land in cities around the world.
With our presence in this dynamic, high-growth industry, there has never been a more exciting time to be part of our mission to reshape the future of air mobility.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Specialist Remote Pilot with proven defence or commercial flying experience to join our fast-growing Drone Services team. This role is not just about piloting — it’s about owning complex operations, contributing to strategic missions, and helping us push the boundaries of what’s possible in aviation.
You’ll be flying the latest drones, in places most people never get to go, solving problems that actually make a difference — from offshore energy logistics to surveillance. If you’re looking for a desk job, this isn’t it.

THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS A NORMAL WEEK IN THIS ROLE.

  • One week, you could be flying emergency response missions in one of the busiest ports in the world — responding to real incidents and helping port authorities act fast.
  • The next, you’re in our Singapore ROC, remotely piloting drones to deliver cargo to vessels across the anchorage.
  • You might be flying environmental surveillance missions for the Public Utilities Board — monitoring reservoirs, shorelines, or flood zones.
  • You could also be travelling to Brunei or the UAE to help set up new flight operations — training local teams, running test missions, and getting the operation live.
  • And when you’re not flying, you’re working from home or the regional office — planning missions, writing reports, logging flights, and keeping your skills sharp.
  • You’ll also spend time overseas — like in the UK — training on new aircraft with our global team and learning from some of the best BVLOS instructors in the world.
Wherever you are, your job stays the same: fly safely, deliver well, and keep pushing the boundaries of what drones can do.
