Specialist, Rewards and System (Fixed Term – Local Employment) Jakarta, Indonesia Role Purpose The Specialist, Rewards and System role is responsible for managing and delivering Compensation & Benefits (C&B) services to support the Indonesia Business Unit. The role ensures competitive, compliant, and well-governed C&B practices aligned with Mubadala Energy strategies, policies, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Corporate C&B Subject Matter Expert and Country Human Capital leadership, the role contributes to effective employee lifecycle management, accurate C&B data governance, payroll oversight, and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Compensation & Benefits Strategy and Delivery Analyse market remuneration surveys and assess compensation competitiveness within the national oil & gas industry. Manage and maintain salary structures to ensure internal equity and market alignment. Prepare and recommend C&B initiatives and adjustments, including assessment of strategic and financial implications. Budgeting and Workforce Cost Management Prepare and monitor Compensation & Benefits budgets for national employees, expatriates, and third‑party personnel. Support preparation of Work Programme & Budget (WP&B) submissions in line with SKK Migas requirements. Track C&B costs and provide accurate, timely budget reporting to management. Governance, Compliance, and Policy Alignment Ensure compliance of all C&B practices with Indonesian labor regulations, SKK Migas requirements, and company governance frameworks. Align local C&B practices with Regional and Head Office policies, identifying and managing any implementation gaps. Lead or support job analysis and job evaluation processes, including appeals and reviews where required. Payroll and HR Systems Management Supervise and review payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage and maintain HR Information Systems (HRIS) and supporting platforms (e.g. Oracle, HCIS, reporting systems). Support system enhancements and provide solutions for payroll, HR data, or system-related issues. Process Improvement and Annual Reward Activities Lead renewal and maintenance of Human Capital policies and procedures on company platforms. Coordinate IPC calibration and annual reward outcomes in accordance with corporate guidelines. Identify opportunities to improve C&B and HR systems efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery. HSSE Commitment Comply with all Company HSSE policies, standards, and procedures. Integrate HSSE awareness into daily work, payroll, and system administration activities. Actively support and participate in Company HSSE initiatives. Qualifications include but are not limited to the following: Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Human Capital functions, preferably within oil & gas or similarly regulated industries. Proven experience in Compensation & Benefits, payroll oversight, and HR systems administration. Experience operating within manpower planning, regulatory, and compliance-driven environments. Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and HR governance frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and MS Office applications (particularly Excel). Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
