SPECIALIST, ROBOTIC PROCESS AUTOMATION (RPA)

Student and Academic Services Department (SASD) manages academic services and student life in NTU. It oversees policies, programs, and services spanning the entire student journey, from admission to graduation and beyond. SASD strategically develops and implements policies, ensures consistency across services university-wide, and supports academic governance. Operationally, it delivers centralized services including student administration, support for learning within and beyond the classroom, academic calendar management, and assistance in academic governance. SASD’s aim is to create a supportive environment conducive to student success and lifelong learning.
The Specialist, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) will be responsible for the implementation of automation initiatives. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, his/her primary responsibility is to understand business needs, design, document, develop, test and implement low-code solutions to automate business processes. He/she oversees the maintenance of implemented solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Diploma holder with at least 2 years of automation development experience.
• Proficiency in RPA tools like UiPath, Outsystems, Power Query.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and organization skills.
• Experience in programming.
• Knowledge of data integration, APIs, data transformation.

• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and design low-code solutions.
• Design visual models, business process workflows, user interfaces and data models.
• Document business process workflows, design specification, technical details, user guide.
• Utilize low-code RPA platforms (e.g. UiPath, Outsystems) to develop end-to-end automated applications.
• Ensure data integrity, security and proper error handling.
• Perform testing and quality assurance activities including creating and executing test cases, debugging and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide support and guidance to stakeholders during development, deployment and maintenance phases.
