Description

ABOUT US

The Sheffield College is a further and higher education institution dedicated to providing academic, vocational, and professional qualifications to approximately 13,000 young people and adults annually. Our mission is to transform lives through learning, advocating for inclusivity and diversity at every stage.
Bloom is our specialist post-16 provision for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. But more than that, Bloom is a philosophy – rooted in the belief that every young person, with the right support, time and environment, can thrive. Our students are not defined by labels or limitations. They are individuals with talents, potential and a right to a meaningful, ambitious education.
We work with young people aged 16–25, creating fully bespoke, differentiated pathways that promote independence, communication, well-being, and preparation for adulthood. No two days – and no two learners – are the same. Our staff are deeply committed to true inclusion, working collaboratively to ensure our learners experience success on their own terms.
