JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced and resilient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with an 18-year-old student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and severe learning difficulties. Due to significant behavioural challenges, including volatility, self-injurious behaviour, and aggressive outbursts, the student is currently unable to access a traditional school environment.
To support this young person safely and meaningfully, we are implementing an outward-facing curriculum focused on community-based activities, movement, and structured routines in familiar outdoor spaces. Each day will begin and end with a home visit, and two staff members will support him at all times.

WE EXPECT ALL OF OUR STAFF TO ADHERE TO THIS AND SHOW THE SAME COMMITMENT WHEN WORKING WITHIN EARLY YEARS SETTINGS. ALL SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE SUBJECT TO SAFEGUARDING CHECKS AND AN ENHANCED DBS CHECK, WHICH WILL BE PUT ON THE UPDATE SERVICE. YOU MUST ALSO ADHERE AND FOLLOW ALL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES SET OUT BY CLEARLY EDUCATION AND OUR EARLY YEARS SETTINGS, INCLUDING THOSE THAT INVOLVE SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN.
