We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Shareholder Services  to join our Wealth Services Operations team. This role is located in Manchester. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:  * Analysis and input to detail across the trade lifecycle for transaction taxes treatment. * Verification of stamp duty nominal balances between extract and Nexus to substantiate on a daily basis. * Investigation and resolution of SDRT/Stamp Duty exceptions. * Creation of payments in line with HMRC/Revenue Commissioner deadlines.  * Investigation and preparation of SDRT/Stamp Duty reclaims for submission to Revenue * Processing of reclaimed SDRT /Stamp Duty funds.  * Account for stamp duty on rolling basis for unpaid CREST items (UK and Irish). * Monitor of clients’ inputs to ensure Pershing’s SDRT regulatory requirements are met. * Review of trade and stamp duty information from CSDs * Processing of Euroclear SDRT reclaims. * Review of clients’ entitlements to exemptions * Daily completion of French, Italian and Spanish FTT reconciliation process.   To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:  * Responsible for the quality and completion of own work. * Provides product knowledge and technical assistance as necessary. * Experience in dealing with clients over the phone and written (email) * Proven track record of delivering excellent client service  * Ability to adapt to change and use initiative to overcome challenges * Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (specifically Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) * Understanding of CREST settlement desirable At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at: BNY Newsroom [https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html] BNY LinkedIn  [https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all]    Here’s a few of our recent awards:  * America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025 * World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025 * “Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025 Our Benefits and Rewards: BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
