Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Specialist or Senior Specialist, Property and Casualty, to join our Corporate Specialty Solutions team!
As a Property & Casualty Specialist in the national Corporate P&C team, you will be responsible for supporting Specialty Solutions with a focus in the Specialty Casualty, Commercial Group Solutions, Farm, Entertainment, and Municipalities lines of business.
This role can be based in any Intact office location.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Handle referrals and consultations to support performance and underwriting
  • Develop and update guidelines and authority statements to maintain clear and current standards
  • Manage product development and implement product improvements effectively
  • Conduct governance best practices through volume analysis and performing audits
  • Research and prepare portfolio reports
  • Provide underwriting training, mentoring colleagues and underwriters to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Establish and maintain productive business relationships with internal departments and external partners
  • Communicate changes related to product pricing, underwriting guidelines and new products to relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in technical committees, rate committees, project teams, etc.
  • Perform technical underwriting audit.
