We are looking for passionate Speech and Language Therapists to join our Additional Resource Provision (ARP) Team working in resource
provisions/units/bases within primary and secondary mainstream school settings. This is part of an exciting new transformation project. We have recently been commissioned to deliver services within all ARP’s and Pupil Referral Units in Buckinghamshire. Current ARP Vacancies in:

You will be joining the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) ARP team who have a range of experience, and there will be opportunities to help shape the service. We have a strong commitment to the development of your clinical practice and professional skills.
The SLT Service forms part of an Integrated Children and Young People’s Therapies Service working closely with Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy as well as wider children and young people’s services. This is a jointly commissioned service across health and education.

One of the Primary School ARP’s provides Hearing Support. Some of these settings support children with Social communication differences and some support children with Social Emotional and Mental Health. You will be offered the opportunity to experience both caseloads or focus on a particular area of need as part of a team. You will also deliver to children in mainstream schools across key stages within a locality area of mainstream schools.
The Speech and Language Therapy Service forms part of an Integrated Children and Young People’s Therapies Service working closely with Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy as well as wider children and young people’s services including Health Visitors, Community Nurses for Children with a Learning Disability, Community Paediatricians and School Nurses.
This is a jointly commissioned service across health and education that will give you the opportunity to be supported as you develop your speech and language therapy skills to support the delivery of high quality, evidence based interventions for children and young people in Buckinghamshire.
