We are seeking a highly qualified Specialist in Sports Medicine to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to athletes and physically active individuals by preventing, diagnosing, and treating sports-related injuries. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and enhance athletic performance. Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose sports injuries and conditions accurately. Design and implement individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans. Collaborate with physical therapists, trainers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Educate patients and teams on injury prevention and health maintenance. Perform procedures such as injections and other therapeutic interventions as needed. Keep current with advances in sports medicine to ensure best practices. Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records. Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities related to sports medicine. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of residency training in sports medicine or related specialty. Board certification or eligibility in sports medicine preferred. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in sports medicine or orthopedic practice. Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury management and rehabilitation techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong analytical and clinical decision-making skills.
