The incumbent is also responsible for the implementation of the SHA Management System that would support the existing Safety Program, with the intent of exceeding minimum standards in Health & Safety. The Consultant is responsible to ensure consistent application of all patient and staff safety legislation, regulations and practices, quality improvement methodologies and client concern handling. The position is expected to maintain quality and safety as outlined in the SHA Quality & Safety Plan and support the deployment and replication of the SHA Management System throughout the organization. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Experience in health care * Experience in a discipline related role in the specific department/area/program Education * Undergraduate degree or diploma in a health related field Licenses * Valid Class 5 driver's license Other Education and Training * Equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge and Abilities * Knowledge of First Nations and Metis history in Saskatchewan * Knowledge in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action * Knowledge of the healthcare system in Saskatchewan. Other Information * Travel within Saskatchewan  * This position is within the Staff Safety Program Development and Integration department. Three to five years of experience in staff safety, quality improvement or program development and integration will be an asset. Strong organization, design, facilitation skills and the assertion to support SHA leadership will be essential.
