This role focuses on the management and treatment of stroke patients within a public healthcare setting, ensuring high standards of care and access to advanced therapeutic options. As a Specialist in Stroke Medicine, you will play a critical role in leading initiatives aimed at improving stroke care across the community. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics for stroke patients. Design and implement structured treatment plans as per clinical guidelines. Educate patients and their families on stroke prevention, recovery, and rehabilitation. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated care pathways. Participate in public health programs aimed at raising awareness and prevention of strokes. Engage in research, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development. M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school. Board certification in Neurology or a relevant specialty desired. Experience in stroke medicine or neurovascular care preferred. Strong clinical judgment and ability to develop treatment plans. Excellent communication skills for patient education and interprofessional collaboration. Commitment to serving patients in a government healthcare environment. Willingness to participate in community outreach and educational programs.
