High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Strong customer service interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As directed by IT management, provide support and assist the Director of Project Management in planning and executing various Technology projects. Assist Project Coordinators with responsibilities to ensure successful completion of Technology projects.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • With oversight from the Project Manager, assist in planning and executing minor technology projects.
  • Assist with building project spreadsheets, maps and other documentation to support successful project completion.
  • Review project tasks, schedule personnel for projects, and track progress.
  • Proactively communicate project status, issues and risks to management and project stakeholders throughout the life of the project.
  • Maintain and submit appropriate records as needed for all projects, including saving and posting supporting documentation for retrofit projects.
  • Report trends and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Serve as escalation resource for higher level issues.
  • Serve as point of contact to Project Coordinators for problem resolution.
  • Initiate escalation as appropriate to ensure management awareness of problems that are severe in nature or have a high impact to the customer community.
  • Initiate and track problem assignments to other IT resources, vendors, and other resources as identified.
  • Monitor and notify management and customer on the status of problem resolution.
  • Document procedures for problem resolution.
  • Assist with accounting and financial duties as required.
  • Strive to improve technical and professional skills by participating in training. opportunities offered internally & externally.
    Perform other duties as assigned.
