Join the Multiskills Team today on a salary of up to $140k pa + Super +$5k sign on bonus. Note that this role requires a high degree of mobility as training will at times have to be delivered off-campus.
MultiSkills Training is a leading registered training organisation (RTO), providing Civil Construction courses and WorkSafe High-Risk Work licences to employees and job seekers in Victoria. In addition, MultiSkills delivers a broad range of employer-specific, Verification of Competency (VOC) and bespoke training to our industry-based clients. With some of the highest completion rates in the industry and a brand known for high-quality training, MultiSkills operates across two campuses - Werribee & Moolap.
We have a great culture and are looking for experienced and professional High-Risk Work (WorkSafe Individual Assessors) Trainers and Assessors to join our team.

We are on the lookout for the “trifecta” of skilled and experienced Trainer/ Assessors, to facilitate Dogging, Rigging (Basic & Intermediate), and Crane specialisms, who can teach and assess against the following topics:

  • Perform Dogging (DG)
  • Basic Rigging (RB)
  • Intermediate Rigging (RI)
  • Non-slewing mobile crane (CN)
  • 20-tonne capacity slewing crane (C2)
  • 60-tonne capacity slewing crane (C6)
  • 100-tonne capacity slewing crane (C1) - desirable
  • Over 100-tonne capacity slewing crane (CO) - desirable
  • Vehicle loading crane (CV) - desirable

  • We know that Trainers and Assessors do not grow on trees. At MultiSkills Training, we are prepared to “grow our own” educators of the future, and may consider supporting you through a cadetship model. You could be working as a trainer, under the supervision of a qualified Trainer & Assessor, whilst you work towards your TAE401122 Certificate IV Training & Assessment.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

The position is full-time however we are open to discussion regarding a roster that suits you. We have a range of days available for teaching between 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Weekend work may also be available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver engaging and relevant training & assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)
  • Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulations (i.e. Conditions of authorisation for Individual Assessors )
  • Supervise students’ behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training
  • Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
  • Travel may be required to deliver training off-sitePerform other general duties as required
