Job Role / Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Manager Transformation, you will be responsible to work with the team to develop solutions to improve processes and create efficiencies. This role will be actively involved in Transformation initiatives during Electronic Health Record implementation as well as Process Improvement Projects at AKU. Utilizing workflow analysis & design principles, and strong communication skills the role will engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple projects that aim to align people, processes, and technology. This role will be responsible to streamline & standardize processes across AKU and identifying areas where performance or processes can be improved. Understanding and measuring the impact of implementations is also a key aspect of this role. You will also be responsible for working on and analyzing large amounts of data through various data modelling techniques and creating professional quality reports and presentations. Specifically, you will be responsible for; successful creation of workflows gathering information from Subject Matter Experts (SME’S) understanding on-ground activities evaluating process gaps conducting current process analysis conducting GEMBA Walks. leading and implementing projects developing project plans developing communication plans/presentations for stakeholder management developing re-design strategy conducting focus group sessions facilitating the teams in developing recommendations implementing re-design. post project support data analysis and monitoring to ensure sustainable progress developing report templates for the BI team to build automated reports develop SOPS and manuals/handover plans and documents for on ground teams to continue sustaining the progress. Eligibility Criteria / Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, Process / Operations Management, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar subject preferably 5 years of experience in implementing transformation/process improvement projects at University hospitals from the conceptional design stage to post-implementation support experience in electronic health record implementations and change management is preferred experience in developing and delivering impactful presentations to relevant stakeholders is a must experience in internal consulting will be an additional benefit knowledge of Business Process Re-engineering, Lean, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma, GEMBA and other process improvement tools and methodologies excellent communication skills with top-notch presentation skills strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and understand the sequence of workflows ability to understand and document business needs and related business processes ability to lead projects and work collaboratively proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Visio & Project.
