Key Responsibilities:- Perform surgical procedures, both elective and emergency, on patients with traumatic injuries.- Participate in the management and treatment of patients in the trauma ward.- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current condition, and available resources.- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, anesthesiologists, and radiologists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.- Educate patients and family members on their condition, treatment options, and post-operative care.- Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in trauma surgery and actively participate in continuing education programs.- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines in the delivery of patient care. Qualifications:- Medical degree from an accredited institution.- Board certification in General Surgery.- Sub-specialization in Trauma Surgery.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in trauma surgery.- Extensive knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques.- Proficient in using advanced surgical instruments and technology.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.- Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities.- Passion for providing compassionate and exceptional patient care.- Must be Western-trained, with experience in leading healthcare environments.
