Join us and be part of something extraordinary.   We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Trustee & Depositary II to join our Trustee and Depositary Services team. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland – HYBRID.   In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: * Utilize Investment Compliance system daily, including coding regulatory and prospectus restrictions, onboarding new funds, and ensuring adherence to both regulatory requirements and internal policies  * Work closely with Trustee & Depositary teams across EMEA to review investment rules and suggest simple, effective improvements  * Investigate issues related to Depositary function (Safekeeping, Ownership Verification, Transaction Monitoring) or our internal systems and help resolve them  * Closely cooperate with Product Owners and Functional Leads across the Client Custody Platform  * Participate in system upgrades and releases, enhancements and migrations ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, providing feedback to improve the user experience  * Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to deliver useful improvements that scale well  * Identify opportunities for improvement and work with relevant teams to implement process enhancements    To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: * Ideally 3-5 years of work experience in the investment funds industry  * Experience working on products in large, regulated environments (such as security services, custody, trustee, or depositary)  * Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills  * Familiarity with tools like JIRA and common delivery items (Epics, User Stories, Backlogs).  * Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata basics.  * Great attention to detail and good organizational skills  * Prior experience with rule coding and/or support in systems such as Charles River, Xentis, MIG21, Aladdin, Sentinel, ALTO is highly advantageous  * German language skills would be very beneficial  * Basic programming is a significant advantage  * Knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD regulations is highly beneficial    At BNY, our culture speaks for itself, check out the latest BNY news at: BNY Newsroom [https://www.bny.com/corporate/global/en/about-us/newsroom.html] BNY LinkedIn  [https://www.linkedin.com/company/bnyglobal/posts/?feedView=all]    Here’s a few of our recent awards:  * America’s Most Innovative Companies, Fortune, 2025 * World’s Most Admired Companies, Fortune 2025 * “Most Just Companies”, Just Capital and CNBC, 2025 Our Benefits and Rewards: BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence and our pay-for-performance philosophy.
