DESCRIPTION DE POSTE

Le titulaire agit en tant que Spécialiste QA MRO. Il/elle jouera un rôle clé dans le traitement des plaintes des clients, des demandes de renseignements, des enquêtes, etc. et agira en tant que point de contact pour les clients MRO. Il/elle gérera les audits internes et externes, les actions correctives, les mesures de performance et devra jouer un rôle de leader dans les initiatives d’amélioration et les analyses de risques.
Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, le Spécialiste QA traitera des pièces aéronautiques et pourra être amené(e) à se déplacer chez des sous-traitants, des fournisseurs, des laboratoires d’essai ou d’autres entreprises du groupe de temps en temps.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The incumbent acts as an MRO QA Specialist. He/she shall play a leading role in handling customer complaints, queries, investigations, etc and will act as POC (point of contact) for MRO customers. He will manage internal & external audits, corrective actions, performance measures, and must play a leadership role in improvement initiatives and risk analyses.
As part of his duties, the QA Specialist will handle aeronautical parts and may have to travel to subcontractors, suppliers, test laboratories or other companies in the group from time to time.

SKILLS

· Meet the requirements of Federal Controlled Goods program (background surveys)
· Experience in Aeronautical MRO activities, standards, requirements, etc.
· Ability to understand and track plans, specifications, technical specifications and testing protocols, analyze complex assembly configurations and assess their compliance with the design configuration
· Read and interpret plans, quotes and specifications for products and processes (English and French)
· General knowledge of materials used in aeronautics is an asset
· Basic knowledge/understanding of the usual special processes is required (Heat treatment, NDT, shot peening, electroplating, anodizing, thermal spray, paint, etc.)
· Able to perform risk analysis of company’s processes
· Process computer file data to establish performance indexes using databases, spreadsheets and graphs
· Ability to write texts/procedures/reports of an advanced level in French and English using current software
· Excellent sense of communication, link between the customer and our suppliers
· English and French spoken and written fluently
· Good communication skills
· Structure and organization in the workplace
· Attention to detail and an excellent sense of observation
· Computer savvy, MS Office suit. Understanding / experience with MS Access and ERP INFOR would be an asset.
· Experience in problem solving and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

· DEC in aeronautical or mechanical or any combination of university studies and experience deemed equivalent
· 5 to 8 years of Quality Assurance experience in the aerospace industry
· ASQ certification (CQA, CQE, CQM…) / Lead auditor certification will be considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
