  • Diplôme d’études collégiales (Cégep) ou certification en paie, administration de bureau ou domaine connexe.
  • Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience pertinente en administration de la paie et des avantages sociaux, idéalement dans un poste similaire.
  • La certification de l’Association canadienne de la paie (ACP) est un atout.
  • Haut niveau d’intégrité, de confidentialité et de professionnalisme dans toutes les interactions.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale. Le bilinguisme (français/anglais) est requis.
  • Solides compétences organisationnelles et interpersonnelles, avec une grande attention aux détails.
  • Capacité à s’épanouir dans un environnement dynamique tout en gérant plusieurs priorités.
  • Expérience avec les systèmes d’information des ressources humaines (SIRH) souhaitée.
  • Maîtrise avancée de la suite Microsoft Office, en particulier Excel et Outlook.
  • Expérience avec ADP Workforce Now considérée comme un atout.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking two dedicated Payroll Benefits Specialists to join our People Team. These specialists will report directly to the Head of the People Team and be responsible for processing semi-monthly payroll in compliance with internal policies, federal regulations, and applicable legislation, as well as administering employee benefits. This combined role will ensure that both payroll and benefits functions are seamlessly supported and can back up one another when needed.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Payroll Processing: Accurately process semi-monthly payroll, including adjustments for new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
· Employee Records Management: Maintain and update personnel records in internal systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
· Payroll & Benefits Support: Act as the main point of contact for payroll, time and attendance, and benefits inquiries from employees and management.
· Reporting: Prepare and produce custom payroll and benefits reports as required.
· Group Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, and wellness benefits, and manage Group RRSPs.
· Leaves Management: Oversee and manage various employee leave programs, including vacation, sick leave, and parental leaves.
· Training & Onboarding: Conduct benefits information sessions for new hires to ensure they are informed about available benefits and company policies.
· Continuous Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing improvements to payroll processes, benefits programs, and other related initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.
· Year-End Support: Contribute to year-end payroll processes, including reporting, reconciliations, tax form preparation, and filings.
· Workplace Safety & Return-to-Work: Manage claims and processes related to Work Safe BC, ON, NB, CNESST, including employee return-to-work initiatives.
· Compliance & Updates: Stay current with payroll, benefits, and HR legislative updates, ensuring the company remains compliant with changing laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

All MEDLOG Canada employees are expected to exhibit the MSC Values, striving to drive customer centric results in all interactions with colleagues and customers alike.
· Cégep or certification in payroll, office administration, or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in payroll and benefits administration, ideally in a similar role.
· Canadian Payroll Association (CPA) certification is an asset.
· High standard of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all dealings.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual (English/French) required.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
· Experience with HRIS systems is preferred.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
· Experience with ADP Workforce Now is an asset
