Le spécialiste des opérations de production est chargé de gérer et de mettre à jour les listes de pièces (Bill of Materials) pour tous les produits Luminis. Ce rôle assure l’exactitude et l’exhaustivité des listes de pièces, soutient les modifications d’ingénierie et de design, et collabore avec divers départements pour optimiser les processus de production.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Éducation : Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en génie mécanique ou expérience équivalente.
  • Expérience : Minimum de 2 ans d’expérience pertinente, de préférence dans un environnement de fabrication.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Operations Production Specialist is responsible for managing and updating the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all Luminis products. This role ensures the accuracy and completeness of the BOMs, supports engineering and design changes, and collaborates with various departments to optimize production processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: College diploma (DEC) in operations and logistics management, industrial engineering, office automation, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) management software and ERP systems (such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, etc.).
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to concentrate.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken French and English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Oracle.
  • Experience in lighting.
  • Experience with SolidWorks.
Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, design, and quality teams to ensure that the Bill of Materials (BOM) meets production requirements.
  • Creation and maintenance of BOMs: Develop and update BOMs for new and existing products, ensuring that all components and assemblies are correctly listed.
  • Data accuracy: Verify the accuracy of BOM data, including part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and units of measure.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of BOMs and associated documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Engineering change management: Process and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure that all changes are incorporated into the BOMs.
  • Maintain product documentation (drawings of parts, sub-assemblies, assemblies) using CAD software such as SolidWorks.
  • Other related tasks: Perform other tasks related to BOM management and product documentation.
