Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

We are currently looking for an HR Operations Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This position is based in our Montreal office and will be responsible for supporting the HR Team in Canada. We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual who is quality driven in their service approach. You will own, manage and elevate the candidate and employee operational experience. You are passionate about offering support to your internal stakeholders, which includes our HR business partners, recruiters and people leaders, as well as being the main point of contact for candidates and employees, all while keeping quality experience top of mind. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is excited about HR and wants to gain exposure to all aspects of the function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver a first-class HR operational service across Canada, with additional support to the U.S. and the U.K. as needed.
  • Proactively identify gaps in processes to create a more seamless and efficient solution and experience
  • Audit reports and support with reporting requests using basic Excel skills
  • Continually create, innovate, challenge norms and raise the bar for HR at Paysafe
  • Own and support the onboarding process, including presenting new hire and benefits orientations.
  • Manage pre-hire and employee onboarding process, including submitting and monitoring background investigations, receiving and auditing new hire paperwork, submitting IT tickets, and managing other onboarding activities.
  • Manage all disability, parental, maternity, and paternity leaves, including liaising with employees, managers, and the insurance provider (for sick leaves). Ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the leave process and support a seamless return-to-work experience.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and coordinate communications with the benefits provider.
  • Responsible for benefits administration, including:


    • Processing new hire enrollments.

    • Managing qualifying life events and related documentation.
    • Primary contact with our insurance provider
    • Organizing events related to benefits
    • Supports the employee offboarding process, including:


      • Coordinating the return of IT equipment with workplace services

      • Offboarding the employees in HRIS (Success Factors)
      • Notifying PayrollCanada with offboarding details
      • Maintain and update HR and talent data and records, such as Success Factors & employee files.
      • Generate different types of letters as required (change letters, confirmation of employment letters, etc.) in a timely manner
      • Update our HRIS system with all relevant changes (Data integrity)
      • Create and maintain various reports/trackers for the team (such as new joiner trackers, offboarding trackers, etc.)
      • Support the Payroll Manager with biweekly payroll processing and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
      • Maintain and update HR policies and documentation, ensuring all Canadian and global HR materials are accurate and accessible on the company intranet, Starting Point.
      • Raise purchase orders for HR related expenses, including liaising with the relevant procurement, processing, and finance teams to set up new suppliers and maintain receipt of invoices
      • Assist with employee ADA accommodation process including (USA):


        • Engage in the interactive process

        • Liaise with the people partner to review requested accommodations
        • Ad hoc project and administrative support related to the HR function.
