JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Director Strategic Sourcing, this role sits within the McKesson Global Procurement and Sourcing organization, in the OTC-CPG category. The incumbent will support the execution of new sourcing strategies through data-driven insights, structured project coordination, and adherence to governance frameworks. The role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of analytics, process rigor, and cross-functional collaboration.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Working Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing or procurement
  • Wholesale distribution experience is an asset.
  • Retail Category management experience is an asset.
  • Product development experience is an asset.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent.

Personal Development and Soft Skills

  • Strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in procurement analytics or supply chain operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and build consensus
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Technical Skills

  • Bilingual, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of MS Office products (Power Point, Excel, Word, PowerBI).
  • Knowledge of procurement process and project management.
  • Understanding of inventory management.

The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States. Therefore, he/she must be proficient in spoken and written English. Please note that the number of positions requiring English language skills has been limited where possible.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze sourcing data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions.
  • Help define and refine key performance indicators for sourcing effectiveness, cycle time, and compliance.
  • Gather and synthesize external market data to inform sourcing strategies and category planning.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sourcing performance, compliance, and project milestones.
  • Champion the integration of AI and digital tools to enhance sourcing capabilities and output.
  • Assist in onboarding users to sourcing platforms or analytics tools, and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Coordinate intake, prioritization, and progress tracking of sourcing initiatives across categories.
  • Support governance processes by ensuring documentation, approvals, and controls are consistently applied.
  • Monitor adherence to internal controls and external compliance requirements related to sourcing and procurement.
  • Analyze completed sourcing projects to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with sourcing leads, finance, legal, and operations to align sourcing activities with business goals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements.
