Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will contribute to enhancing PEAK’s visibility across Canada’s financial sector. You will lead targeted public relations initiatives, coordinate key communication streams, and reinforce PEAK’s market positioning in a competitive landscape.
You understand today’s media dynamics, know how to engage the right platforms and voices to generate meaningful coverage and impact, and are comfortable integrating evolving technologies like AI into your communications strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Public Relations, Influence and Media Visibility

  • Develop and implement a focused public relations strategy targeting Quebec and Canadian financial and business media.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, columnists, content creators and relevant industry influencers.
  • Plan visibility actions aligned with PEAK’s strategic priorities, including media outreach, executive positioning and editorial contributions.
  • Draft all PR deliverables: press releases, media kits, op-eds, speeches, executive bios and talking points.
  • Manage media requests and prepare internal spokespeople for interviews and public engagements.
  • Build complementary influencer strategies: editorial partnerships, co-created content, thought leadership amplification.
  • Track, measure and analyze media coverage and campaign performance (qualitative and quantitative).
  • Support issues and crisis communications by ensuring consistency, speed, and accuracy.

Content Marketing and Communications

  • Develop content strategies aligned with brand positioning, key messaging and PEAK’s culture.
  • Design and manage an omnichannel editorial experience (newsletters, articles, digital platforms, internal tools) for advisors, prospects, clients and employees.
  • Maintain and optimize a structured editorial calendar to ensure clarity, consistency and timely execution.
  • Oversee the quality and tone of all communications, ensuring clarity, accuracy and alignment with brand standards.
  • Produce or coordinate the creation of relevant and original content that supports strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Talent & Culture team on internal communications and channel selection.
  • Apply best practices in digital writing (SEO, accessibility, voice, and format adaptation).
  • Track performance indicators and adjust tactics based on engagement data.
  • Manage collaboration with external partners (agencies, freelancers, designers).

Brand Management and Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Ensure consistency of PEAK’s visual and narrative identity across all platforms.
  • Support positioning efforts in collaboration with marketing, HR, and corporate communications.
  • Contribute to packaging and promoting PEAK’s service offering through relevant and targeted tools.
  • Align brand expression with business goals, both internally and externally.

Events

  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of events targeting advisors, partners, media, and the public.
  • Suggest innovative formats aligned with visibility and positioning objectives.
  • Oversee the execution and content of in-person and virtual events with attention to detail and brand consistency.
  • Assess outcomes and identify improvements to increase future event impact.

Performance, Monitoring and Optimization

  • Track key performance indicators related to PR and communication initiatives.
  • Conduct ongoing media and industry monitoring.
  • Recommend strategic adjustments based on data, feedback, and trends.
