Attesa Coffee is a start-up specialty green coffee sourcing and distribution company headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We work directly with producers at the origin to bring our customers (specialty coffee roasters) high-quality coffees safely, on time, and consistently with the use of efficient digital frameworks. We believe in traceability through the chain and are highly committed to transparency towards all our stakeholders. We are looking for a performance-driven, customer-centric individual with a strong work ethic to join our team as a Business Development Manager. Tasks Work towards sales of specialty green coffee to roasters / customers within the European market and maintain positive relationships with clients Develop and maintain relationships with green coffee suppliers / producers in Asia and Africa, and manage sourcing projects Manage and update CRM database Contribute towards conducting analysis of market, identify client requirements & establish further areas of growth Assist on marketing projects related to social media, specialty coffee content, newsletters, etc Coordinate with Attesa Coffee’s European warehouse partners to manage entry and dispatch of inventory Work with European transport partners to facilitate final customer deliveries, including requesting quotations, finalizing delivery orders and tracking progress Travel and represent Attesa Coffee towards clients and in global coffee fairs / events Requirements Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or similar Experience / working knowledge in the coffee industry is a must 2–4 years of B2B sales experience in FMCG, coffee, premium F&B, or lifestyle sectors Ability / preference to work in a dynamic / entrepreneurial environment Willingness to learn and an active to develop a career in the Coffee Industry Team player/problem solver, resourceful in creating solutions. Ability to manage communications; fluent in both spoken and written English Nice to have Additional courses or certifications in Specialty Coffee Big ideas and persistent curiosity Benefits Work in an entrepreneurial and ownership driven environment Gain valuable experience in a wide range of business functions Be integral to the growth of the firm with seniority / management as it grows
