Description

This is a great opportunity for a Specialty Doctor to join the Early Intervention in Psychosis Team in Salford. This is an established post which has become vacant due to the post holder taking up higher training.
This is a full - time appointment for a Specialty Doctor in psychiatry to work in an established post in the Salford Early Intervention in Psychosis Team. The post consists of assessment and management of patients with psychotic conditions in the community. The team currently has a caseload of approximately 220. Almost all these service users are on CPA and will have care coordinators. The successful candidate would assess 1-2 new patients a week and conduct follow-up appointments. These appointments will take place either at the patient’s home or within a community base and will generally be undertaken jointly with the care co-ordinator.
