Description:
Haun Welding Supply is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Specialty Gas Lab QA Manager . The Specialty Gas Lab QA Manager will be responsible for performing gas analysis, upgrading the lab, teaching lab personnel in good laboratory practices, and develop programs and skill sets.

Requirements:

• BS degree in analytical chemistry or similar scientific discipline
• Lab management experience with gas chromatography and gas process analyzers
• Production lab experience
• Supervisory skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast pace environment
• Attention to detail
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Computer skills
• Prior Gas Cylinder Filling or Warehouse experience
• Must have, at the time of hire, and maintain throughout employment, a valid NYS drivers’ license free of major infractions.
• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong Customer Orientation
• Perform your duties and responsibilities following the Haun Values; Helpful, Humble, Heart-driven and Honest

• Proper daily prefill, in process and post filling of medical and industrial gas cylinders
• Administer SOPs for the lab and production floor
• Management and oversight of lab personnel
• Troubleshoot quality issues throughout the entire production process
• Handle all customer complaints on quality issues
• Participate in audits and evaluate audit performances
• Participate in Purity Plus operations committee
• Develop metrics to monitor and improve quality
• Participate in production SOP development
• Develop training programs
• Develop safety and compliance programs
• Communicate effectively with the sales team and company management
• Work with other departments
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Follow prescribed safety protocols
• Other duties as assigned
