JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: Port Elgin
As a specialty retail store, the function of this role involves all things retail. We deal with high-quality merchandise including cooking essentials and gourmet food, so a desire to learn and interest in cooking tools is paramount.

Primary responsibilities include retail sales and service, locating and picking product for transfers, and working with a team to ensure all business activities are complete.

  • Inventory management functions
  • All sales and inventory functions are electronic so strong computer abilities are required
  • Interactions with customers and vendors are critical, so attention to detail and good communication skills are needed
  • Opportunity for additional responsibilities exist

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift up 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $19.00 per hour
