ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Specification & Business Development Manager to grow Floor Décor's presence within the architecture, design, fit-out, and construction sectors.

The role will focus on developing relationships with architects, interior designers, consultants, developers, contractors, and end users, securing Floor Décor products into project specifications and converting opportunities into confirmed business.

The successful candidate should combine design understanding, technical flooring knowledge, relationship development, and commercial sales capability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSpecification & Project Development

• Develop and secure flooring specifications across commercial, hospitality, education, healthcare, government, retail, and residential projects.
• Work closely with architects, interior designers, consultants, and developers from the early design stage.
• Ensure Floor Décor products are included in BOQs, material schedules, specifications, tender documents, and approved material lists.
• Recommend suitable flooring solutions based on design, performance, sustainability, budget, and application requirements.
• Follow specifications from concept through tender, procurement, and final project award.
• Protect specifications against unnecessary substitutions and value engineering.

Business Development & Sales

• Identify new projects and business opportunities across the UAE and GCC.
