THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a market leader in the construction materials industry, our products are trusted by architects, designers, and developers across Australia. We’re currently seeking a driven and customer-focused Specification Manager to join our high-performing team and take ownership of project-based sales across key market segments in Victoria.
In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted partner to the architectural and design community, promoting our full product portfolio through proactive engagement and strategic specification. Your mission is to drive sales growth, influence project outcomes, and ensure long-term customer satisfaction by delivering expert technical support, tailored solutions, and outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with architects, designers, consultants, and other key decision-makers to ensure products are specified in project plans.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase specification sales and grow market share.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations that highlight unique value propositions and competitive advantages.
  • Support the design and delivery of tailored solutions that meet specific project and customer needs.
  • Track and manage specifications through the project lifecycle to ensure conversion to sales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams-marketing, logistics, and customer service-to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate CRM records of customer activity, project status, and forecasting data.
  • Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities and drive innovation.
