We’re partnering with a globally recognised manufacturer at the forefront of high-efficiency HVAC and building technology solutions to recruit a Specification Sales Manager. This role will help drive growth across sectors such as commercial design-build, district energy, and data centres.
This is a strategic, consultative role focused on shaping early-stage design specifications and ensuring innovative infrastructure solutions are positioned from the outset as the preferred choice.

The Role
You’ll build and nurture relationships with consultants, developers, and end users to ensure your technical solutions are embedded in project designs from the beginning. The aim is to become the go-to specification on major builds through proactive engagement, technical support, and strategic positioning.
This is not transactional selling — it’s about consultative, long-term influence across technically complex environments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven success in specification sales or consultative B2B selling in HVAC, M&E, or energy/infrastructure
  • A strong network across consultants, developers, or key stakeholders in the built environment
  • Technical confidence – able to read technical drawings and sell high-value solutions
  • Experience getting products specified as the Basis of Design
  • CRM fluency and a data-driven approach to pipeline and forecasting
  • A confident communicator and relationship-builder at senior levels
  • Passion for sustainable innovation and the future of infrastructure
  • Willingness to travel across the South East and UK (approx. 50%)

Location: Field-based, covering South East & London with national reach
Package: Up to £70,000 + £550/month car allowance + up to 24% bonus + pension + benefits
