Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Specifications Technologist located in the Greater Colchester Area. The Specifications Technologist will be responsible for managing product specifications, liaising with suppliers, conducting quality checks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to product development, quality control, and documentation.
We’re looking for someone with relevant experience in the ready meal industry with sound knowledge of Food Law, specifically to handle specifications and artwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing product specifications and quality control processes
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements is essential
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the food industry or related field is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline

Hours: 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday, 9am till 6pm with 1 hour for lunch)
Location: This is a site based role at H/O in Harwich, CO12 4PT therefore, candidates must be able to commute or relocate for this role.
