More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Specifier & Account Manager at Modular Lighting in Milan, Italy with Signify. In this role, you will be driving business in Modular in various ways. Therefore, you will need to contribute with a strong drive and enthusiasm, and you will: Approach new architects from your own network as well as follow up on leads. Be the face of Modular in the market by proactive customer visits and other activities. Build long-term relationships with architects, light planners and value-added resellers. Be the creative partner in lighting design for our clients. Assist, guide and inspire architects, light planners & partners. If you join us, you will work in an inspiring environment as part of the DACH-IT team. In Italy/Mainland, we want to work in a duo team, with each manager operating from their home office. Our existing colleague has been working for our company for many years. Due to several consecutive successful business years, we want to strengthen our team. Your clients are mainly interior architects, lightplanning offices and value-added resellers and you will be in touch with all parties in the delivery chain. You will be supported by local customer service and light planning department that will enable you to focus on building relationships and creating business. To be successful in this role, you must understand what it takes to make a high-end brand better every single day. Therefore, you should bring: You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior design/architecture, lighting design or account management. At least 3 years of working experience in architectural lighting is required, with a preference for those with experience in selling design products. Basic knowledge in architectural lighting with the ability to inspire as well as guide in technical topics of light. Strong commercial and social skills with a wide network amongst architects and interior designers. Previous experience in Project Management. Excellent communication skills in English and Italian are required. A structured mindset with good ability to work independently. You are someone proactive who likes to connect with people.
