Specimen Reception Assistant

We are seeking to recruit an all round assistant to successfully help run the Specimen reception department in our private laboratory.

Key Aspects of the role include:

• Receipt of medical samples
• Opening all incoming post into the specimen department
• Pre analytical preparation of samples
• Registration of samples into in house IT systems
• Opening and closing duties of specimen reception

Skills required:

• To work as an effective team member
• Good knowledge of IT to be able to data input
• Flexible attitude to the working environment
• Attention to detail

We are looking for someone to work full time, 35hrs over 5 days. The laboratory is open between 8am - 8pm Monday to Saturday, therefore shifts will be allocated between these times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £22,010.56 per year
