Are you a qualified and registered Speech and Language Therapist looking for a unique opportunity to make a difference in the Criminal Justice System? Join us in this fresh and innovative role and play a key part in shaping the future of our service.
Previous experience in criminal justice and offender health is ideal, but we’ll consider candidates without this. Preferably, you’ll have an interest in health and justice and a passion for supporting people making their way through police custody or court.
If you believe in supporting vulnerable individuals by addressing their speech, language, and communication needs to help them navigate the justice system and reduce their risk of reoffending, this role is for you. This is an opportunity to use your expertise in a meaningful way, supporting individuals to engage more effectively and make positive changes in their lives.
The role covers the Hampshire area, with base locations available in Southampton, Portsmouth, or Basingstoke, depending on your preference and service needs. Travel to various locations across the region will be required to carry out the role. Usual working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, but we can be flexible to suit between 7am and 8pm.

Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree.
Health Professions Council licence to practice & Registered member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
Significant experience at Band 6 or equivalent in a community setting.
Licence holder with access to your own vehicle and prepared to travel multiple sites across Hampshire as required.
