Description

Hope Group of Central Florida is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team. You will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with speech and language disorders.
We offer the option of full-time or part-time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) or eligibility for certification is required.
  • Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail when documenting client progress.
  • A passion for helping children develop their communication skills in a supportive environment.

    Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Speech and Language Pathologist in implementing therapy sessions for children
  • Working closely with children and their families, focusing on improving speech articulation, language comprehension, expressive language skills, fluency, and social communication
  • Provide therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to help children develop effective communication skills
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for the child’s progress
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of each child’s therapy sessions
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss treatment plans and progress updates
