QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE SLP’S

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC.
  • Willing to be certified on the Registered Autism Serve Providers List (RASP)
  • Related clinical experience and some leadership skills will be an asset.
    SLP-Relevant experience under your College guidelines

ABOUT US

We are a fast growing autism agent providing diagnostic and treatment services to children aged 1-18 years of age. We are trained in providing evidence-based treatment called Applied Behaviour Analysis to the children along with speech and language services to provide a holistic treatment approach for families.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$150.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week

Responsibilities
  • Work with clients and their families to set Speech-Language goals which have targeted and measurable outcomes as part of their ABA program
  • Provide indirect service as in supervision to other SLP team members, coordinating with families and liaising with the community providers
  • Ability to take on many clients on the spectrum
  • Utilize research to establish and support evidence-based practice as outlined in the research
  • Collaborate with other external service providers and school consultations as when needed
