Our 14-bed residential service provides tailored, person-centred rehabilitation care plans aimed at maximising independence and recovery. We specialise in post-acute rehabilitation and manage long-term neurological conditions, emphasising therapy, care, and quality of life. Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Devise evidence-led therapy programmes at a specialist level, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary working to achieve the best outcomes for our patients
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care in line with national guidance for excellence
  • Serve as a Named Therapist, ensuring seamless coordination of therapy by facilitating cohesive goal setting, interdisciplinary collaboration, and well-structured discharge planning
  • Develop your skills in clinical supervision and informal mentoring of Speech and Language Therapy Assistants and students
  • Participate in internal training (induction, mandatory training, MDT in-service)
  • Ensure all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld
  • Participate in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
