Job Title: Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist Banding: Band 7 Location: Parsons Green Health Centre, London, SW6 4UL Start Date: ASAP Working Hours: 22.5 hours per week / 3 days (Full-time or Part-time considered) Rate: £24.00–£27.00 per hour (dependent on experience) Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Band 7 Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist to join the team at Parsons Green Health Centre, supporting mainstream schools across Hammersmith and Fulham. This locum role is ideal for clinicians with a passion for working in educational settings and delivering impactful care to children and young people. Key Responsibilities Provide face-to-face speech and language therapy services in mainstream school settings Complete Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) assessments and contribute to multi-agency planning Deliver high-quality intervention and support for children with speech, language, and communication needs Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support child development Requirements Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required) HCPC registration (required) Experience working in mainstream schools and completing EHCP assessments Proficiency in using SystmOne (S1) Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills Ability to work independently and flexibly across school sites Why Pulse?
