North London Foundation Trust are currently looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join The Physical Health Therapies service.
The right candidate will ideally have experience managing people with dysphagia including screening, assessment and treatment.

IN ADDITION TO EXPERIENCE, ALL QUALIFIED ROLES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF:

• HCPC registration

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO:

· Evaluate patients to identify individuals who have a variety of complex speech, language and communication, eating, drinking and swallowing needs
· Develop treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs in order to improve speech, language the communication skills
· Implement techniques to enhance articulation, fluency, voice quality and language comprehension and expression
· Work with patients experiencing dysphagia to improve their ability to safely swallow food and liquids
