Description POSITION: SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST 2026-2027 School Year STATUS: PRN, up to 29 hours per week PAY: $48/hr REPORTS TO: Testing Supervisor LOCATION: St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, St. Charles County Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree from accredited school Licensed in the state of Missouri ASHA Certification Experience in providing Speech and Language evaluations and treatment to children and/or adolescents. Able to utilize personal computer to submit reports in a timely manner POSITION SUMMARY: The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates speech and language skills for children and adolescents and provides appropriate treatment/interventions to improve upon deficit areas. RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide a comprehensive and professional assessment of each child's strengths and weaknesses as they relate to speech and language issues. To develop appropriate IEP therapy goals to access the general education curriculum and/or private therapy goals in order to assist the family in reaching realistic goals for treatment. To develop a treatment plan and update the plan as appropriate. To work as part of an educational team and establish rapport with school staff and parents. To support Partner School Staff by providing expertise, input and advice in the areas of speech and language issues. To maintain adequate progress notes for IEP goals, insurance and other stakeholders. To write IEP goals, present level of performance, and quarterly progress notes as assigned by school staff. To follow the Partner School's calendar with regular attendance and notify the school staff and MLC staff in case of an absence. In addition, student's IEP minutes would need to be made up in a timely manner and documented. To maintain contact with other professionals to ensure coordinated treatment efforts. To submit billing in a timely manner. Any other duties as specified by the supervisor and/or school staff.
