BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM AN ASHA-ACCREDITED UNIVERSITY, ACTIVE SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT (SLPA) LICENSE AND MINIMUM 1+ YEARS SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

This full-time opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with a School certification, ready to contribute their skills in an elementary school setting serving preschool through 2nd-grade students. Located in Annapolis, MD, this position offers a contract for the current school year (CSY) with a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, providing valuable experience in a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP certification (CCC) or SLPA with a School credential
  • Experience working with preschool to 2nd-grade children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
  • Ability to design and implement effective speech and language intervention plans

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to individual student needs across preschool to 2nd grade
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
