Blue Sea Education Consulting works with over 80 school districts across Nassau and Suffolk Counties, providing Special Education Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Social Workers, Speech Language Pathologists, LBAs, School Psychologists, and ABA Parent Trainer services to students in grades K-12, during and after school. WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED AND CREDENTIALED SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN. AS A PROVIDER FOR BLUE SEA, WE OFFER ASHA CEUS AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!

  • Support, guide and implement evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans to help students improve their communication abilities, enhance their quality of life, and achieve their personal and academic goals.
  • Provide oversight and support to Clinical Fellows and play a meaningful role in their clinical development
  • Effective collaboration with providers and families, and other academic professionals to create a holistic approach to therapy.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated on the latest research and therapeutic techniques in the field.
  • Maintain an active therapy caseload.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willing to provide in-school and home-based SLP services
  • Must have a Masters in Speech Language Pathology or relative field
  • Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence
  • Must live on Long Island in Nassau or Suffolk County (Eastern Queens could be considered) and have your own vehicle to commute

This is a 1099 position that provides more upfront pay, ability expense job related costs, and the flexibility of the schedule you want.
