Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - [Lamoni, IA] Blue Stone Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services to adult and geriatric patients at [Lamoni Specialty Care] in [Lamoni, IA]. This role focuses on evaluating and treating adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting. The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for assessments, care plan development, and implementation of treatment programs addressing dysphagia, swallowing disorders, cognitive-communication deficits, voice disorders, and speech and language impairments. This position will serve multiple partner communities, including [Southern Hills Specialty Care] and [Westview Care Center], with travel between locations as needed. What You’ll Do Perform speech therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care Provide skilled speech language pathology services focused on functional and measurable outcomes Treat swallowing disorders, dysphagia, cognitive deficits, communication disorders, and voice impairments Participate in discharge planning and development of maintenance programs Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants where applicable and in accordance with licensure standards Maintain appropriate patient schedules per established guidelines Complete timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement requirements Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes Requirements What You Bring Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Speech Language Pathologist license (or eligibility for licensure) in applicable state Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehabilitation preferred Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards Why Blue Stone Therapy?
