REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Florida state license in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or working towards if a CF.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Manage caseloads, including timely re-evaluations, plan updates, and adhering to insurance authorization deadlines
  • Conduct evaluations and treat children with varying speech and language abilities
  • Provide families with carry-over activities and progress updates
  • Document therapy sessions using Clinic Source
  • Manage caseloads, including timely re-evaluations, plan updates, and adhering to insurance authorization deadlines
  • Collaborate with the OT/PT team to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Supervise SLPA when needed
  • Experience and/or interest with AAC and feeding therapy preferred
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions and strength-based approaches
  • Support: Front desk and scheduling team; Ongoing support from Therapy Lead and Superviso
