Description

Overview Join our dynamic team of experienced pediatric therapists in beautiful Upstate NY. Racker provides a progressive strength based preschool program, in Cortland, Tompkins and Tioga Counties. We also provide some clinical services for early intervention, preschool and school age children in Tompkins, Cortland, Tioga, Seneca, and Schuyler Counties. Racker is excited to welcome contracted Speech-Language Pathologists to support our Preschool Classroom in Ithaca, NY. Join our Preschool Classroom Team and our Early Intervention Team and earn up to $75 per session. Racker is seeking candidates who are committed to improving the lives of children and families and who are looking to grow and thrive as a leader in their field. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Design and implement an integrated therapeutic program for each assigned child that will promote learning and a positive self-image Develop and implement ndividual and group therapy programs for all individuals in the caseload Provide speech-language and hearing screenings as needed Communication within multidisciplinary team, and with families Maintain records and therapy progress notes Qualifications Qualifications: Education/Certification: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology; New York State Certification as a Teacher of the Speech Hearing Handicapped; ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence; approved driver; valid New York State Driver’s License Experience: Those in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered, Familiarity with multidisciplinary approaches to intervention and habilitation Requirements: Possible travel to various locations within multiple counties, using own valid, working vehicle. Must have valid driver’s license. Use of smartphone for documentation purposes required. Ownership/usage of personal smartphone is strongly preferred. Potential for regular, full time employment is available. Racker is currently accepting applications for our Tompkins County and Owego locations. Responsibilities
