Description Ohio Valley Voices is a 501C3 organization that teaches children that are deaf and hard of hearing how to listen and talk. The Speech Language Pathologist within our early intervention program will work with infants aged birth through 16 months and their caregivers. Duties include: Provides parent education to caregivers that focuses on hearing loss, advocacy, and global developmental norms Plans and implement all lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum’s objectives Plans a program that attempts to meet the needs of the individual child and that provides experiences to challenge each child Maintains the order and appearance of your room, cabinets, materials and equipment Attends weekly staff meetings and individual teacher meetings Completes daily therapy plans in advance of each lesson and maintains a therapy binder Keeps accurate records on all students including progress reports, attendance records, and individual portfolios Requirements Masters in Speech Language Pathology CFs are eligible to apply
Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide parent education and implement individualized therapy lessons for infants with hearing loss. They are also responsible for maintaining therapy records, portfolios, and the physical organization of the classroom.
