FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Shift 1 Shift Details: OPT position for coverage needs at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and Froedtert West Bend hospital. Commitment to two weekends shifts per month and one Holiday per year. Weekday coverage desired but not required. Job Summary: Optional Part Time - Acute Care setting. One weekend a month and one holiday a year – weekday coverage desired but not required. The Speech/Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech therapy services to the patient by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs. The therapist also participates in varied Rehabilitation Services department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Master's degree in Speech Pathology is required. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: State of Wisconsin license in Speech-Language Pathology is required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.) as awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire.
