Organization: SCAH-Sutter Care at Home - Bay Position Overview: **$10,000 sign-on bonus available to external candidates - in accordance with Sutter Health policy + excellent benefits!** The Speech Therapist develops and implements a plan for providing rehabilitation home therapeutic treatment as well as education of patients, family members and significant others to home health and hospice patients. This position also coordinates with other home health staff to provide an efficient integration of care. Job Description: EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Master's in speech pathology from an educational institution accredited by the Education and Training Board of American Speech Language Hearing Association CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE ST-Speech Therapy for the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance DL-Valid Drivers License Class C or B AUTO-Automobile Insurance BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: 2 years recent relevant experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Possesses the ability to organize, use time efficiently, and communicate well Demonstrates clinical assessment skills in area of expertise Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills Job Shift: Days Schedule: Full Time Shift Hours: 8 Days of the Week: Monday - Friday, Variable Weekend Requirements: As Needed Benefits: Yes Unions: Yes Position Status: Non-Exempt Weekly Hours: 40 Employee Status: Regular Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines. Pay Range is $53.75 to $72.19 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
