QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Registration in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience (in-home or community experience preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-home therapy sessions to clients in the GTA, Oakville, and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for an independent, client-focused SLP who is passionate about helping patients improve communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life.
You will work as an independent contractor with flexible scheduling based on client needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide in-home assessments, treatment plans, and therapy for clients of all ages (focus on seniors and adults).
  • Support clients with communication disorders, swallowing difficulties, and cognitive-communication needs.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
  • Educate clients and families on therapy techniques and home programs.
