What You’ll Do: Evaluate and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments. Develop personalized treatment plans based on physician orders. Administer and interpret specialized speech and hearing tests. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and progress. Collaborate with rehab therapists and nursing staff to deliver holistic care. Maintain accurate documentation and uphold HIPAA standards. What You Bring: Current knowledge of effective speech therapy techniques. Familiarity with the clinical needs of the geriatric population. Strong clinical skills and a heart for patient care. Commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and confidentiality. Requirements Qualifications Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology required. Licenses/Certification: Current license in Speech Language Therapy as required by state law. Valid CPR certification required. Experience: Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
