WE WILL ALWAYS BE A SOURCE OF HOPE WHO YOU ARE You are a compassionate and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist who provides Speech-Language mentorship services to students with autism, developmental delays, and other learning disabilities while working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality treatment, documentation, and compliance in a school-based environment. ***Position is Part-time, evening hours from 2pm to 6pm daily*** WHAT YOU’LL DO * Screening - Complete screening requests to determine students' need for evaluation * Evaluation - Conduct standardized assessments of students to determine eligibility due to speech and language deficits, such as articulation, language, and pragmatic needs * Treatment - Write evidence based speech and language therapy plans for students who have speech related needs, incorporating various treatment strategies and accommodations * Documentation - Complete documentation in accordance with deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality * Communication - Maintain communication with student’s families and/or caregivers regarding progress and needs * Collaboration - Work with multidisciplinary team members to determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on client needs and improve service delivery * Other responsibilities as assigned WHAT YOU’LL NEED Qualifications * Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology or Communication Disorders * One year of progressive experience as an Speech-Language Pathologist * Pennsylvania Instructional 1 Teaching Certificate OR PA Educational Specialist Certification * PA State Speech-Language Pathologist License * Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology * Experience working with individuals with developmental delays (Preferred) * Experience working in a school setting (Preferred) Clearances & Training Required * Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance * Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance * Act 114 FBI Clearance issued by the Dept of Education * Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate * Act 168 from Previous Employers where you came into contact with children * State License of Practice and/or Certification * CPR/First Aid * TB/Physical WHAT WE OFFER * Competitive Pay Rate * Health Insurance - With employer contribution * Dental and Vision Insurance - 100% by employer paid * Paid Time Off * Retirement Investment Savings Plan * Professional Development Opportunities * Discount Market The Hope Centers value and respect the full range of social and cultural characteristics and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, financial ability, marital status, parenthood, disability, ethnic background, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, military status or on any other basis that is prohibited by federal, state, or local laws.
